We are making fairy wreaths this May
As part of Cork County Council’s Bealtaine Festival we gathered Macroom Library on Wednesday 6th May what fun we had intertwining twigs and cuttings from the garden – hazel, willow, oak, maple forming a circle we wove webs and decorated these with leaves, flowers, mosses and other offerings from the natural world – my wreath made in April with the first dandelions and the first pink maple leaves had dried out and turned more spritely … here are we are immersed in our happy time
